Arab Air Defense-Part-2/ ZSU-23 Mobile AA gun

During the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the system was particularly effective against the Israeli Air Force. Israeli pilots attempting to fly low in order to avoid SA-6 missiles were often shot down by ZSU-23-4s as in Operation Doogman 5. The models are from Dragon/DML and in 1/35th scale. First model is the Egyptian army.
This next model replicates a Syrian Army ZSU-23 SPAAG (self propelled anti aircraft gun) as a unit of the anti-aircraft forces that appeared for the first time on the Golan Heights on Oct. 6th, 1973. The attack was spearheaded by approx. 1000 T-55 & T-62 MBTs with an aerial umbrella of Sam-6 and ZSU mobile guns.
